Petit Poilu is the protagonist of the books Petit Poilu,was created in 2011 by Pierre Bailly and C¨¦line Fraipont.Petit Poilu has a black ball body like a briquettes with a big red nose, is inspired by a drop of ink splashing on the paper. The story is about his adventures along the way to its school.
Since 2011, Petit Poilu¡¯s comic books have been translated in German, Dutch, Korean and other languages and distributed globally. The sales volume in France alone has reached 600,000 copies. It has been selected for the 2019 French National Animation Film Festival and recommended by the Education Bureau as the educational book and also the book specially recommended for the 56th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. The animation " Petit Poilu" has been launched on the Children's TV Channel since March 2019, and its ratings have ranked No.1 among overseas animations.
